Resource Development Support

The Alternative Care and Resource Development Unit supports our member Agencies in the development of Agency resources.

The Southern Network provides resource development support to our member Agencies.

This includes reviewing proposed child care facilities on a province-wide basis and participation in inter-Authority committees and working groups related to enhancing resources in First Nation communities and indigenous-led services.

In addition, the Southern Network will assist our member Agencies in:

• Developing First Nations specific resources;

• Collaborating with our member Agencies to develop new resources such as specialized foster homes and residential care facilities; and

• Providing support with system-wide initiatives.
