The Alternative Care Unit assists member Agencies with placement resources for children and youth.
The Southern Network is committed to assisting our member Agencies in matching children who need temporary care outside of their immediate homes with appropriate resources for the children’s needs and to assist with keeping siblings together whenever possible.
Our first option for placement is always with family.
The Southern Network and our member Agencies work in partnership with third party resources to match children accordingly and will profile each child who may need extra supports in a placement type.
